In the early stages of design, the team from HED collaborated with Sheridan Contract prior to Neocon of that year. Within the variety of lines and offerings, the Faeron Seating Collection by Krug stood out for its striking details and similarities to hospitality design. A design detail often desired in healthcare recently to aid in comfort for both patient and visitor.
Along with selecting pieces from the Faeron Collection that met both the quality and value requirements, Mary Beth was instrumental in the process of selecting Enviroleather (now branded LDI Interiors), a heavy-duty, PVC-free material with high double rubs and chemical resistance.
While both these manufacturers are well suited for healthcare environments, many of Mary Beth's educational clients have also selected them for their durability, both in the manufacturing, but the long-time wear of the material.
